developed for Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism / SEC

As the Dir. of Digital & Social on this account, I was responsible for gaining high visibility for the first time event using a combination of SEO, digital partnerships, and very little (Paid) SEM.

Working with a Freelance designer, Justin Sias, I implemented this WordPress site and Justin customized the template using in-house creative designs. This project required frequent updates to the theme template (HTML) to add new sponsors, and frequent updates to content as schedules, ticket sales, sweepstakes, etc. evolved.

Some site analytics included:

  • 4331 Visits / Day on 1st day of event
  • 25k+ Unique Visitors month of event
  • Top Referring sites: Facebook mobile, Facebook
  • Over 150 mentions / articles generated on BeachFest
